FREDERICK ZORGER, an originator of the Ohio branch, was married to Whilhelmina Catherine Speckt. Frederick was born 14 Sep, 1817 in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania and died at the age of 75 on 9 May 1893 in Richland Co., Ohio.

Wilhelmina was born at sea on 26 Mar 1815 and died on 30 May 1892 at the age of 76.

Both are buried at Myers Road Cemetery (Mt. Bethel Cemetery) in Jackson Township, Richland Co., Ohio. The Cemetery is located on CR 201 about one mile east of SR 39 near Shelby, Ohio. [The grave sites are located in the first row on the left as you face the cemetery.]

Together they had seven children, Four sons - William, Daniel, Peter Simon, and Jacob Henry and Three daughters - Elizabeth R., Sarahan, and Susanna.

Although there currently is no evidence to connect Frederick Zorger (1817) and his Descendants to Frederick Zorger (1734) it is reasonably certain that it exists.
